One of the Most Breathtaking Lodges in North Idaho, and How You Can Stay There for $36 a Night!
Redemption Rock Lodge
I recently had the opportunity to spend a few days exploring and photographing one of the most breathtaking properties I’ve seen. Located in Post Falls, Idaho, just 12 miles south of I-90 lies 950 acres of privately owned property. Logging roads and trails snake through the wilderness offering near endless opportunities for exploration. At the bottom of the property sits Redemption Rock Lodge: a 5400 sq ft. rustic hideaway that sleeps 20 people. Check out some of the images I captured inside and out:
Redemption Rock Tower
At the top of the property is a tower that sleeps 4 people. It takes a solid 90 minutes to hike to the top of the mountain where Redemption Rock and Redemption Rock Tower overlook both Washington and Idaho. The hike is rigorous so one should be in decent shape to make the trip up.
And the best part is…
Both Redemption Rock Tower and Lodge are available to rent! I was pleasantly surprised to find the lodge rents for an average of just $575/night on VRBO. That rate covers up to 12 people, and for a little extra you can have up to 20 people. That works out to $36/night. I’m already planning on renting the lodge for a weekend with my family next spring!
If you’d like more info, check out the websites for both locations:
I did my best to capture the beauty and tranquility of both the Redemption Rock Lodge and Tower. Here’s a video I shot with my drone, the Mavic 2 Pro. Enjoy…
